Large scale neurovascular-immune mapping of the brain after stroke

The immune system is increasingly recognized as a key mediator of cerebrovascular dysfunction. In this project, in collaboration with the group of Prof. Daniel Razansky  Multiscale Functional and Molecular Imaging Lab, we will attempt monitoring of capillary-level changes in the murine brain microcirculation and their interplay with neuronal activity and immune-mediated pathologies. This requires bridging microscopic and macroscopic imaging in the rodent brain with high spatial and temporal resolution.
