  Focus on mechanisms of reperfusion failure in stroke, prediction of therapeutic success using advanced imaging and machine learning, novel stroke treatments, cardiovascular health.

• Prof. Dr. Bruno Weber, Principal Investigator
  Research on brain dynamics in experimental imaging and neuroenergetics, with a focus on energy metabolism, glial biology, and the development of imaging technologies.

• PD Dr. Mohamad El Amki, Group leader
  Research on cerebrovascular and immune responses after stroke, with a focus on vascular remodeling, neuroinflammation, and strategies to improve tissue reperfusion and recovery.
